In 1994 Kenneth D. Newson was contacted by the Architects for California State College at Northridge. The Earthquake had decimated their dormitories. Could he please write a specification to replace the carpet, the sheet vinyl, and remediate 500,000 square feet of lightweight concrete.
He did.
In 1995 Kenneth D. Newson was contacted by the Burbank Pasadena Airport Authority, which requested that he develop a carpet specification.
He led them to this carpet.
In an outlet mall, water was coming through the epoxy coated concrete floor. Interior Specifications was asked to find the source, assess responsibility and design the fix.
Candy Spelling thought this seam was wrong, and asked Kenneth Newson to help the installer fix it.
He showed them how to fix it.
Patent Infringement: Interior Specifications was asked to interpret 2 sets of written instruction and opine as to the use of each methodology to install flooring. We created these diagrams for presentation to the Federal Court.
